Understanding the world, studying it and solving problems and situations are called cognitive development or thinking. They help the child to interpret and understand the world in which they live and play. Its development starts from a very young age and by supporting children to discover, parents try to support their child’s intellectual development. There must also be room to make mistakes, to ruin things, to deal with certain situation, task again and again. Long-term, well-founded learning is when a child discovers how to take out a ball rolled under the bed, if he or she cannot reach it, how to get the car from the shelf, if there is no one to give it to him or how to do a puzzle. If the child comes up with all this on its own, he has a chance to solve a more difficult, more complex task later, to stand up in school. And it is the responsibility of the professionals and the parents to create a learning environment.
